Cal.net delivers DSL service far superior to that available through any other provider. What exactly is "Enhanced" DSL? Enhanced DSL is:

• Faster – speeds up to 30 Mbps, far surpassing older DSL technology or Cable Internet
• Farther – distances up to 22,000 feet (or more in some cases) from Telco Central Office service hubs, as much as twice that allowed by other service providers
• More Capable – advanced firewall and Wi-Fi remote management, along with time blocking and content filtering options, are available if desired

If you have been unable to get DSL service in the past, you may now qualify for DSL service for the first time.

If you have been dissatisfied with your Internet speeds until now, you may now be eligible for substantial speed increases.

If you have multiple Internet-connected devices (computers, game boxes, video devices, etc.) or younger family members in need of supervision, you now have the capability to easily handle all your configuration, monitoring, and control needs from home or away.

If you use your mobile phone for your primary voice service, or you have always wanted to do away with your Telco-provided analog telephone service and go all-digital, we now also offer Unitary (“dry loop”) service – meaning Internet only without an associated analog voice telephone line. Thus you can eliminate your phone-company charges and exclusively utilize your mobile phone or leverage your favorite VoIP phone service over our Enhanced DSL.

All our Fixed DSL base packages include 100 MB of e-mail & Web storage space, 5 e-mail addresses, and e-mail virus filtering. One static IP address is available upon request at no additional charge. The standard packages provide asymmetric connections (meaning you have faster download/receiving capacity than upload/sending). For those who need more advanced capabilities, Cal.net also offers symmetric connection options (meaning that the upload/sending speed is the same as the download/receiving speed).

Cal.net offers two types of DSL router modems for our Enhanced DSL services – with and without integrated Wi-Fi. Each model come with four integrated Ethernet ports, to provide connectivity to multiple computers or other Internet-enabled devices. Compared with the basic one-port DSL modem, this saves you money in that you don’t need to buy any extra hardware to connect all your systems to the Internet. These routers are available on a monthly lease basis, or for purchase. Pricing is as follows:

In some cases, due to the quality of the phone lines in your area or other technical factors, the Unitary option may be mandatory in order to provide you the service you desire. We will strive to meet your requirements at the lowest possible cost to you, but if it is technically necessary to utilize the Unitary feature to meet your needs, then the associated surcharge will apply. Additionally, depending upon your distance from the Telco Central Office hub, it may be necessary to utilize the Bonded DSL Router modem in order to provide the speeds you wish.
 
In some cases, it may be necessary to have your lines conditioned to enable our Enhanced DSL service to function. If this is the case, there will be a one-time install surcharge. This cost varies, depending on what actions must be performed to prepare your lines. We will inform you of this cost in advance so that you may decide whether to continue with your service order.
