Setting up a Cal.net dial up on Windows XP
1. Click on Start (you may have to click on settings after you click on start). Then,
click Control Panel. If your control panel has only a few icons like the above picture,
click on "Switch to Classic View" in the upper left hand corner.
2. In the Control Panel window, double click Network Connections. Click on
"Create a new connection". Click Next.
3. Leave the dot in "Connect to the Internet" and click Next.
4. Put a dot in the circle to select "Set up my connection manually" option and
click Next.
5. Leave the dot in "Connect using a dial-up modem" and click Next.
6. In the box labeled "ISP Name", type "Cal.net" and click Next.
7. In the phone number box, type in one of the phone numbers listed at the
bottom of this page.
8. Type in your username.
Type in your password in the password and confirm boxes; all in lowercase letters. Uncheck
the last box labeled "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection" and
click Next.
9. Put a checkmark in the box labeled "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
and click Finish.
10. The "Connect Cal.net" window will be displayed. You should be ready to connect!
